Just this morning, TechBirmingham announced that Linn Park is now a FREE wireless hotzone. See below for the full text of the announcement. Checking www.BhamWiFi.com, we now have 270 public hotspots identified.
Visitors to the City Stages event can check the schedule of events, keep up with emails, and maybe blog on their experiences. Search for the SSID of "Linn Park by SouthernLINC" to connect to the free service. Accepting the terms of service is required, but that's it!
The service is LIVE right now, in advance of the event. The Regional Planning Commission's booth will be using the service to display their clean air campaign website. How will you use it? It'd be GREAT to hear that our area bloggers made use of the network to live blog during the concerts.
