A telework/telecommuting workshop will be presented on October 25, 1006 at 10 am in the Ireland Room at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens (www.bbgardens.org). The goals of the workshop are to help teleworkers become more effective and to help employers successful launch, measure, and manage telework programs. One of the benefits will be to reduce highway congestion and commute times in the Birmingham area. The workshop is sponsored by the Federal Highway Administration and is organized by the UAB Center for Telecommunications Education and Research with help from TechBirmingham. A lunch will be provided at no cost to attendees. The program may be expanded to include additional speakers. Seating is limited so please RSVP to Charlotte Oliver at email@example.com (we apologize that the email address in the first announcement was incorrect!). We hope to see you there!
