Synopsis: Considering virtualization?  Join Mark as he scratches the surface on the hottest trend in the server world.  This overview of P2V migration includes discussion on several options for migration, consolidation and recovery including VMware, System Center Virtual Machine Manager and StorageCraft.  Don’t blink as you experience the PFM of a physical server’s backup being recovered to a virtual machine on different hardware in under 10 minutes!

Bio: Mark is the founder and acting CEO of Tech Care Team, Inc., a managed IT services provider in Charlotte NC with a focus on SMB. He is the founder of the 250 member Charlotte SBS Group (www.sbs-charlotte.com) and serves as the Meetings Director for the 6000 member Carolina IT Professionals Group (www.carolinait.org), which is recognized as the founding group for Culminis (www.culminis.com), an international organization that fosters user groups and IT communities and boasts over 2,000,000 members.
